Do you think there are big conspiracies we don't know about? Are you skeptical of anyone who says that?

I mean like a bunch of people meeting, or some stuff Lerk ad Ax say, or some of the other threads that are popular "coverup of assault", etc.

I say no, but the 4th choice has some truth.

Probably the most well known conspiracy is the anti-microsoft conspiracy. It includes very diverse groups and individuals and all kinds of tactics. Tactics like hacking and all the way to pirating and distributing Microsoft Windows. I could go on and on...

But the one biggest things coming out of this is a constant barrage and attack on the Microsoft servers. I mean constant and repetitive and gi-normous.

The funny thing is they are all Microsoft Windows users for the most part.

In this age of information there are no more conspiracies. We know exactly who the f*cked up people are, who they are trying to f*ck and what their f*cked up ambitions are.

Do you think there are people conspiring to destroy the US? Believing that Saddam and bin Laden were conspiring against the US was a conspiracy theory. Believing that Saddam had WMD was a conspiracy theory. Believing that MacNN is biased for liberals and unfairly punishes conservatives is a conspiracy theory.

I'm as skeptical of people who think there are conspiracies against the US/conservatives as I am of people who think there are conspiracies by the US.

Of course, it's never a "conspiracy theory" when you believe it ...

A bias isn't a conspiracy. It just happens that they think the same. No plan. No conspiracy.

You peeps are getting conspiracies and conspiracy theories mixed up. Theories are just that. However conspiracies are real and documented. The CIA for example was a major conspirator during the latter 20th century. One famous plot that failed miserably was 'The Bay of Pigs". This was a plot by The CIA to overthrow Castro. The CIA trained Cuban exiles in guerilla and terrorist tactics to land at night on the shore of Cuba and topple the government. It failed on the Bay of Pigs.

There are many other plots by the CIA to conspire to overthrow and assassinate government leaders, many in South America during the sixties and seventies and some were successful.

Also, Ollie North ring a bell?

And peeps are charged with conspiracy all the time. From conspiracy to commit murder to terrorism. You have a plan with others to commit a crime, it's a conspiracy.

Anyways, this thread is dumb.

You're right, a bias isn't a conspiracy. The conspiracy would be to conspire against conservative members of MacNN. The "conspiracy theory" would be to believe in such a conspiracy without evidence. I don't blame you for not being able to recognize that you are a conspiracy theorist ... conspiracy theorists are usually so immersed in their delusions that all they see are conspriacies against them.

If you use XP, Bill Gates will know all your computer habits.

It's true! When you go to sleep at night it forwards all your emails, internet history and pr0n to M$'s "hidden conspiracy" server! Bill Gates reads all your emails and laughs! He's probably watching you right now. Right through the hidden camera that he forces all PC manufacturers to fit inside your monitor....

It must be true, I read it on a mac forum somewhere...
