So I bought the new BT album on my way back from Key West. It is EXCELLENT, though....right now I'd still rather have Movement In Still Life..... but I think it'll take me a few months to fully appreciate it.... what do you guys think about it?
I'll do it track by track, but it'll take me a few days:
Track 1: Sounds a lot like 'mad skillz' to me for some reason.... I'm guessing he used mad skills as a backbone for this song, or something, because all sorts of parts of it remind me of a mad skillz. Still kickass though.

I should email him. I've downloaded a ton of his music, I bought this CD and MISL, and I've been to....1...2...3...4...5 of his concerts. Heh. All because of Mp3s.

I bought ET last week... the first track is rock by first listening to it. I guess I have to play the later tracks more to get hook on.
I have 107 AAC of his music on my iTunes library. ESCM is my favorite along with the songs on OST.
Never experience with his live performance tho.

Oooh I will have to check it out!
I *love* the Sasha remix of Remember--it's my gym song!
He's from where I am--my best friend used to play with his sister (who was kind of weird).

It's Ok ..
My Favorite(s) is Probably Simply Being Loved,
and Superfabulous, and The Great Escape.
The Rest In My Opinion Just Suck.
Movement In Still Life still reigns supreme.

Singular. The ****er only took down Torrentse.cx (poor HELLO.JPG...)
Anyway, his new album blows, but it's catchy...guess that's what happens when you get a taste of big money...
I mean come on, it's repetitive to the NTH degree! I'd post samples of lyrics and prove my point, but I'm gunna go get some dinner.
MORE IMA/ESCM, LESS ET/MiSL.

You mean Somnambulist. Probably the most crack-esque song on the album. That is: I hate it, yet I can't stop listening.
****ing Transeau and his mind ****ing music (I'm not kidding. Go watch Better Living Through Circuitry, and you'll see what I mean.)

Nutshell: It's a documentary that was made back in 99 that examined the whole rave/trance scene. It's really well done and featured a TON of interviews with people who were/are influential in that whole world. BT was one of the interviews, and he said how he has researched ways on making his music mimic the techniques of ancient shamen who used to use fire, drugs, and "strobes" (he explains) to put people in a trance (only moreso than the rest of the stuff that is out there.)
Basically, he's using an old bait and switch trick with a musical twist.

This is cool! He has the whole album available to listen to on his website. http://www.btmusic.com The link is on the main page.
When I want to listen to it, I just pop open a web browser. Who needs CDs or MP3s??
