My first kernel panic--out of the blue. I guess I'm glad it's taken a whole eight-and-a-half months to occur, but still, what do I do? Is this a sign that my computer's only days away from exploding into flames or rapidly imploding, creating a huge, carnivorous black hole?

(bad titles include things like "HELP!")
I think titles like "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" are bad too.

Anyway your lucky you havent had a Kernel panic sooner.

I havent had mine yet, and I am not looking forward to it.

I have only had 2 kernal panics since running the Public Beta of Mac OS X. They happened when I use to have to unplug/plug back in my Microsoft IntelliMouse because it would stop working out of the blue. Then it started working again full time and never had one since.

When ever you have a kernel panic, write ALL the info displayed on the screen on a paper, then open a bug to Apple.

Bug reports require ADC registration (it's free).

I'm pretty rough on OS X...and i've only had 2 kernel panics since the PublicBeta. I think the first one was in 10.0.4 using iMovie and the 2nd was the other day when i unplugged my SoundSticks and replugged them. From what I understand this fits in with the whole OS X-USB bug issue. Moved my usb stuff to different ports and have been running perfectly ever since(over 6 days uptime since the Panic).
