Hello all,

Dangit, I should have known better than to upgrade software while sleepy, but I did and forgot to do the "clean install" and I forgot that my Eudora mail lived in the System Folder. So of course, I don't have the handy "previous system folder" with saved files. Is there any way to retrieve the old Eudora files? I've ran Norton UnErase and managed to extract some text files of some messages from my inbox (searched for some words that shows up in every 'in' message).

Is there a way to retrieve the old System Folder/Eudora files?

I upgraded from 8.1 to 9.0 to 9.1 on a PowerTower Pro.

Thanks,

-j

Have you tried looking for the files in the original location? The system software installers only delete files left over from older system software. If it finds a file that you put there, it ignores it. The purpose of a clean install is to replace damaged files.
