I use my pismo to watch dvds through my TV with Svideo.

This works fine, however, whenever i switch back to the powerbook screen, my desktop has my icons scattered all over the place.

I have to rearrange them everytime, after i watch a dvd.

Anybody know a workaround ?

look on versiontracker.com, there are little apps (usually applescripts) that will memorize & re-place your icons.

seems when u watch a dvd it changes the screen resolution, check that 1st, maybe you can get things back to normal that way (ie from the control strip)

Yah, if it changes your resolution your icons will get changed around.

This isn't much of a fix, but it irritates me when they get moved about so this usually forces me to clean up my desktop.
