I need it to install software on older Macs, so speed isn't critical. Looking to spend $10-15 shipped, which is why I haven't picked one up from eBay. If you have one lying around somewhere, let me know.

Just happen to have one! However I will have to did it out, but since I'm moving and dumping my older stuff, should be able to find it tonight.
Need a Mac + to go with that?
How about a vintage scanner, UMAX Vista with ADF? hint hint

FOUND IT! However unable to mail you through the the board. Please e-mail me so we can close this. By the way not only will you be able to read CDs, but burn them too.
She's my ole 4x that I bought new for my new 6400/180. She served me well for years, then when I upgraded to t he G4/400 there was no need for her other than for an emergency backup.
