I believe you are not allowed to charge extra for PayPal.... if you do not want to absorb the fees, then do not offer PayPal as a acceptable method....Mods or anyone. correct me if I am wrong.

Actually there is:

"4.6 No Surcharges. You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method. You may charge a handling fee in connection with the sale of goods or services, as long as the handling fee does not operate as a surcharge and is not higher than the handling fee you charge for non-PayPal transactions."

do paypal terms of service really even apply to someone who isn't a merchant? as in, can an individual be legally bound to those terms of service?

Ok, I am interested, and I have been interested since you first posted. If you look above, you'll see that I asked three questions that haven't been answered yet. Here they are + some additional ones.

- I am assuming this is a Core 2 Duo rather than a Core Duo2? I don't believe there is a core duo2. I'm just trying to verify that this is not the first gen. Core Duo model.
- 2.16 Ghz? I think this is the only speed the Core 2 Duo model came in, but wanting to verify it.
- English or French system?
- Also, what about the box, packing, CDs, etc. Do you have everything it came with when new?
- What kind of condition is it in?
- It does have 2GB of Ram?
- And lastly- how old is it and would you be able to provide an original receipt for warranty purposes?

There, I think that's it at this point. Please let me know.
Some of the hesitancy might come from the fact that you are in Canada and you only have 7 posts here. Those are a couple of my concerns. No offense intended.
Thanks

"- I am assuming this is a Core 2 Duo rather than a Core Duo2? I don't believe there is a core duo2. I'm just trying to verify that this is not the first gen. Core Duo model."

Sorry it's not a core 2 duo I made a mistake.

"- 2.16 Ghz? I think this is the only speed the Core 2 Duo model came in, but wanting to verify it."

Correct, it is the 2.16GHZ model.

"- English or French system?"

English

"- Also, what about the box, packing, CDs, etc. Do you have everything it came with when new?"

It will come with the original box, keyboard, mouse, front row remote and software. Yes I still have everything that it came with.

"- What kind of condition is it in?"

It is in mint condition it was in a smoke free and pet free environment. It was only used by an adult.

"- It does have 2GB of Ram?"

Yes.

"- And lastly- how old is it and would you be able to provide an original receipt for warranty purposes?"

It is just one year old(apple care expired on the 5th of march). I can provide a receipt but I'm not sure if it's still eligible for applecare.

Thanks for the questions and sorry for not answering them earlier.

Not picking on you- but the Core Duo was 2.0Ghz I believe and the Core 2 Duo is 2.16 Ghz. That info is important to help identify the machine you are selling. Thanks.

This is an incredible deal, but people might be hesitant because of your low post count. It might help if you posted photographs of the computer, including a piece of paper with your username to prove that you have the computer. It also might help if you provided some references.

Also, why are you using USD when you're located in Canada? It just seems a little strange.. it's one thing to have a canadian sale and offer to ship to the US, but it seems weird the other way around? No?

Good luck!
