Has anyone with an iPhone/iPod touch been able to get their birthday calendars on their device? The web version and iCal both have it, but yet it isn't on my phone. I do know that push works since I created and deleted a calendar as a test and the tests worked. Any suggestions besides creating a manual calendar and putting the dates in myself? Thanks.

How did you get it on the web version? I haven't gotten that to work yet.

I must have been luck but for about an hour last night (9pm EST) I was able to play around.

So much for that article (for now). Thanks though.

When syncing subscription calendars between a Mac and MobileMe Calendar: Subscription calendars do not appear on MobileMe Calendar.
Well. That's not cool.

The weird thing is, on the web version of MobileMe, it's an option to show it, but unfortunately I think that's all it does.

In case anyone cares, what I had to do was this: Right click on the Birthdays calendar and choose "copy url to clipboard". I then opened Safari and in the address bar, paste the link. Change the webcal:// to http://, then I copied the full address again. Opened the downloads window of Safari, and hit paste. It will download the file. In iCal, I imported the calendar into an existing calendar already. Way too much work, Apple.

On the MobileMe web Calendar, click on the little settings gear icon and select preferences. The option to turn on the Birthday Calendar is in there. Click save and it will appear!

Oh I have that, but it doesn't push to the iPhone/iPod touch. The KBase article even says there's no resolution either. The work around I posted was to get the birthdays (and other subscribed calendars) to be pushed to the iPhone/iPod touch.

Yeah, I knew you had figured that out. I meant to quote kelchm. I don't think you quite answered his/her question about how to enable the Birthday Calendar on MobilMe. It wasn't easy for me to find it either so I thought I'd tell where to access it.
Thanks for the tip, btw!

To clarify, don't you need to temporarily publish your Birthday Calendar from within iCal? Then you can right click and copy the URL link to the clip board I think.

That's correct; I forgot that I had published mine a few years ago.
