Apparently in about 15 mins, Geenpeace is going to "Green" the Apple store, and according to one of them, this is going to be more dramatic then what they did to the NYC store. I'm grabbing my camera, and I'll post pics in about 90-120 with what ever "gfreening they do"

Maybe will see some entertaining arrest go down.

*For the record, I fully support efforts to save the planet from pollution, but I don't like these morons using Apple as their whipping boy when there are far worse offenders out there*

They could've saved the Chinese white dolphin, but instead they'll protest Apple. Good job.

Not to mention some of Apple's products were just chosen to be the cream of the crop as far as the EPA is concerned. I'm a tree hugging hippie myself, but Greenpeace is barking up the wrong tree with Apple.

i love the planet, but Apple is not the right target.

They are just doing it to get the publicity, not because it makes the most sense

Green Peace lost their grounding years ago. Just a bunch of aging hippies who have no real clue why they're trying to save the world in the firstplace. Anyways I hope Apple stands their ground on this.

I agree these are mostly wacko-extremists, but "Apple Should Stands their ground?" It would benefit everyone if they did a few things that were healthier for the environment. One would be recycling at every Apple store and a safer disposal method for those products. It's very easy to say f-it because we don't see the mess that is created, but it is real and does hurt the earth.

MacNN | Greenpeace protests at SF Apple Store

Greenpeace activists last night projected large images on the walls of the San Francisco Apple Store to protest the company's use of toxic chemicals, depicting Asian scrap yards where many electronic products such as those made by Apple end up when they are finally discarded. As Mac enthusiasts gathered for the annual trade show, images of electronic products being melted and taken apart -- releasing toxic chemicals into the environment -- shown on the exterior of the store. The organization 'greened' Apple's Fifth Ave store in New York on December 18th by shining green flood lights into the iconic store's glass cube at the street level.

I think to save the earth apple should replace the battery on my titanium g4 powerbook, as it doesn't hold a charge very well now. So... yeah... just me. Replace it. Free.
