I just bought a new MacBook Air because my iMac died suddenly. When I try to Sync my iPhone 3G with about 800 songs the warning I get from iTunes leads me to believe that I will end up with the files on my computer (0) replacing the files on my phone (two years worth).

Is there a way to get the iTunes files on my phone to transfer to the computer?

I know Senuti (see at MacUpdate) does this with the iPod (reverse transfer), so I'm not sure about the iPhone.

Senuti is offered as demo then at a steep price of $18.

Hopefully someone will offer a better suggestion.

Thanks, pod to mac looks simple enough. I will give it a try overnight. 6GB of audio could take a while.

I know it's not free but Phoneview works with 3.0 and new iPhone 3gs. Just tested it.
I don't think Podworks, PodtoMac nor Senuti work in their present version. At least not for me.

I picked it up from a recent macheist bundle deal and it seems to work pretty well. It can also copy photos, web links, notes, contacts, sms messages, etc.
