When I installed Panther I did a total clean install. I put all of my software back except for Quicken 2002. Before I install Quicken 2002 I am wondering if it works properly with Panther. Or should I just go ahead and purchase Quicken 2004?

No problems here, I've been on Panther since the official release date. The Quicken UI is a bit snappier too, which is nice.

However, apparently there are some problems with Quicken 2004 and Panther. You might poke around here and on macfixit.com to get the details.

I'd just buy the new version. You can download it from Quicken, and if you keep the receipt, you can expense it when it comes time for income tax.
