I got an email from Apple advertising a "special" grab bag that they are planning to sell at the San Francisco Apple Store grand opening. The grab bag is selling for $249, but it's content is worth $600.

Has Apple done this before with their other grand openings? I was just wondering what could possibly be in that grab bag? $100 worth of Apple t-shirts and mousepads? Or do they really put things that I would really want in the grab bag (i.e. I'Life '04, a mini-Ipod)?

Just curious.

It's on Saturday, Feb. 28th. Here's a link: http://www.apple.com/retail/sanfrancisco/

Funny, it doesn't mention the gift bag. I'm sure I'm not the only one who received an email about the bag promotion from Apple.

Hmm... I wonder if it's worth buying.

Software mostly, I'd imagine. Perhaps an iSight, maybe an iPod. But other than that, software. They lose the least on Software.

Yeah, probably Keynote, iLife, and maybe Final Cut Express or something.
