Hello Everybody,

I have noticed a problem. Whenever I try to open iTunes it doesn't open. I can force quit it to close it. Now i just noticed that if I push a button on my Media Remote while I am waiting for it to open it will open.

I have always used My Remote in Sound Jam and I usually use it everyday. If there is anyway to fix this problem I woulld love to know.

Thanks in advance!

Download the most recent drivers for your DMR:
http://keyspan.com/products/usb/remo...latestsoftware

I haven't had any trouble since I upgraded. It is kind of a big download though... something like 8MB!

Hello Everybody,

I tried updating the drivers but I did not work. I think I am going to call Keyspan today and ask them what the hell is going on?

Make sure the new drivers you downloaded aren't disabled. You may have just installed the new drivers over the old ones and the old ones may still be activated in the extensions manager. If that doesn't work trash everything that has to do with the digital media remote and install the drivers again. I don't own a digital media remote but that has worked with a number of my peripherals

hey this started happening to me, and trashing the folder iTunes Prefs (in the system folder/Preferences folder) and the iTunes Music Library in the documents/itunes folder (yeah, you lose youe music library, sorry)... then itunes worked for me; it just acted as if it was just installed and i had to go through the setup again.

now if only they had a carbonized version of itunes...

hope this helped

Hello Everybody,

I tried both of those. They didn't work so I deleted everything that has to do with iTunes and the Remote. Then I reinstalled everything and it still didn't work so I am just gonna call Keyspan when they open on Monday.

Thanks!

Did you restart after trashing everything?
