Hey people,

I am using Indesign, and I would like to know how to make pages 16-1, 2-15, 14-3, 4-13, etc. appearing next to eachother instead of 1-2, 3-4, etc.

I am kinda hopeless, as I tried everything but it resulted in nothing.

Anyone having an idea?

Thx in advance.

I am not sure if u are able to do that in InDesign. I thought u do that in the other software called preflight or something like that. There is software out there will lay out the page you want it to be but no the indesign.

I don't get the difficulty. but then I don't have indesign.

You want printer spreads... but the auto page numbering gets messed up? So use manual page numbers. Unless you've got a 200 page manual, no biggie, eh?

i think he wants the number showing differently on the page pallet. I guess you just have to image that page 2 is page 16. that's the only way probably.

To me it sounds like he's looking for a 'booklet' function.i.e. being able to reshuffle pages into a workable file for (duplex) printing and folding.

Jerommeke, have you ever looked at some of the scripts doing this floating around the web, or at alap's (www.alap.com) InBooklet plug-in?
Always on the run...

Are you trying to make the pages in this order for your printing company? If you are they should be able to put your pages in printer spreads.

If not for your printer, why do you want to do this?
