I couldn't resist... I got a new car!!
http://homepage.mac.com/matt972312/PhotoAlbum13.html
It's a white 350Z, and I looove it. So fun to drive, one of the best cars I've ever owned. 270 horses. I did 0-60 in 5.3 in it, ughh still in love.
Any other past/present Z owners here?

FINALLY! FINALLY someone likes a GOOD car and buys it. None of this pussy "Mini cooper S" bullshit, a honest to goodness hauls ass and looks good car! I LOVE the new Zs. I wasn't crazy about them til I saw them in person. Wowweee they look hot. Although... I have heard stories about them you might not like... but... I still dig em.

I think I'm going to pick one up in about 10 years when they're cheap, and that way you lose the most amount of cash.

Awesome ride. Congrats!
With the white color and the shape of the 350Z, it looks like a silver Apple logo would look good on there somewhere (like the base of the iMac or the Airport basestation).

Jealous!
My dad wants a 350z so bad that it hurts. He had a silver 280z when he was younger, but then he had to go and have kids (Mom wouldn't let him keep a 2-seater when there was going to be five in the family).
White is cool. I think he's looking at either brickyard or silver.
Anyway, congrats!

I love the orange 350Z looks great, and great performance too. I'll probably get one when I get a real job.

i like the new Zs especially the roadsters MMMmmm its styling is almost as good as the TT but with better balls
And cheaper, maybe when i get a real job in about 3-5 years i will pick up a used one.
I agree with cash, i too will not buy a new car, unless i pick it up from the factory in Germany

Nice car to pickup! I am very impressed that you picked this out of the numerous other cars in the price range; it's one of my favorites!
My dad used to own an old Nissan 240 IIRC, and when he saw the new 350Z he just said "I'm getting one of those!"

This car was reviewed on Top Gear (UK's leading car show) and they dissed it. I was disappointed, because I was hoping for good things. But they hated the crappy interior trim (for this price range), and the non-existant boot/trunk. They said it's just a brainless muscle car aimed at the American market (their words, not mine !).
Have you ever sat in an Audi TT ? The build quality is astonishing - it's like a 50K car.
Personally, I'd rather have the Mazda RX8.
Currently I drive a Mini Cooper S - but over here 'performance' equates to 'going round corners fast' not 'going in a straight line quickly' - and the Coop is as fast as anything out there.

Congrats, glad you like your new wheels! Its looks aren't my cup of tea, but then there are whole museums of art that draw my derision. As long as you dig it, it's all right. Now if you had purchased, say, an Aztek, I'd have serious questions about your parentage, I.Q., and possible childhood head trauma This car's pretty cool. Try not to get too many tickets!

Wake me when you get a good shot of the exterior. Maybe you should've bought a cheaper car and saved up for a better camera?
New toys are cool, though. Congrats.

Except a base model neon.... that'd go around corners faster than a Cooper S.

Apart from Jeremy Clarkson who's a complete tosser. I used to think he was a good guy until he started spouting his opinion like it was gospel.
And who cares if the 350Z hasn't got a boot? It's not a "drive your mates to golf" kind of car !

Heh no kiddin'. I tried fitting 2 bags into the back, and they would fit... if i carried no woods. Can't golf w/o my woods & driver!
It's a good thing the Z isn't my only car.

that's a gorgeous car (even if the pics aren't. something's up with them, too high sharpening perhaps?). i used to sport a 1990 na Z, all black, intake and exhaust. ah, that was a nice car, even if the variable cam timing did kick the bucket and cost 3.5 large to repair...

NA 300ZXs stink. Everyone I've talked to who's owned one says that they'd rather have just saved up more and purchased the TT version.
