400 Mhz Lombard Powerbook OSX.3.9,
I turned on my lombard and it is on and running but the monitor is off. I tried resetting pram etc but it looks like the lcd is gone. When connecting to another monitor i c only a white screen so I was wondering if its the lcd that is broke or is something wrong with the video card too. Also could it have been that I needed to switch screen modes to put the image on the external lcd?

Hmm its been awhile but as I recall by default it spans the desktop across the PB lcd and external monitor when the lid is open or ext monitor takes over display when lid is closed, which is actually a 'good' sign when comparing the price of a new lcd to the price of a new whatever... even logic board.
