What's happened to the switchboard?

I just went to the switchboard and and got asked for a username and password to access the site how long has it been like this does this mean it's no longer open to the public?

Hehee... At least someone likes our site... first off thanks everyone for supporting us the first few months! We took it down for a redesign by one of the most well known mac gui artist (you will seee) and we currently have about 8 or 9 tutorials in development. We will be back soon

Glad to hear it. I had to remove you guys from my RSS feeds, because it kept prompting for username/password.
