Ann B. Davis, whom most probably know best as "Alice Nelson" from The Brady Bunch, has died here in San Antonio. Reports say that she was in excellent health for her age of 88. She is reported to have fallen in the bathroom and suffered a subdural hematoma.
I don't know how many others here "grew up" with Alice as the quintessential housekeeper, but I sure did. While 88 years may seem to be a "long run," she apparently never really retired, with appearances as recently as February of this year.
