Now that I've stepped up to Snow Leopard (10.6) on my new iMac, I find the Tiger-based machines around the family to be a drag, and I discovered that a friend's PB with Leopard (10.5) is a lot more pleasant. So...

I'd like to buy Leopard and try upgrading to it on one of the PowerBooks. But as far as I can find, neither Apple nor Amazon is a source for 10.5 now.

Anybody got a Leopard install for sale reasonably?
[Note: The install disk that comes with INTEL machines will *not* work to install on a PPC (nor to create a PPC-startup disk on an external drive *from* an Intel machine.]

Personally I find it hilarious that you have the hots for my gramma. Especially seeins how she is 3x your age, and makes your Brittney-Spears-wannabe 30-something wife look like a rag doll who went thru WWIII with a burning stick of dynamite up her a** :)

Apple does still sell 10.5 Leopard. I checked with them a couple of weeks ago.
It's not in the retail stores and it might not be on the Apple website.
You need to call the 800 number and order it over the phone.
