I remember hearing about this app that was in the works or maybe being released at the time that was capable of editing and splitting long MP3's into multiple tracks without any need to re-encode or re-compression of any kind. Anyone remember something like this? I can't for the life of me remember what it was called or find anything via google to give me any hints.

I've got long album length mp3's that I want to split up into individual tracks. It wasn't Audacity or Peak - something else...help! please!

Amadeus II can do this, at least as well as I can tell from your description.
