For the last couple of days whenever I try to opening a .webhistory or .webbookmark file I'm receiving the dialog box asking if I want to open this "application" as it was downloaded from the internet. This message is mandatory for certain content, however, this has never been the case with .webhistory and .webbookmark files.
Pulling up a search via Spotlight and selecting either a Safari history or bookmark file brings up said dialog box, as does opening the file directly from where I believe Spotlight is retrieving this information:
/Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari - (Bookmarks and History folders are found here).
Apparently there's at least one other individual on Apple's discussion forum who is also seeing this behavior.
Frustrating as hell. Anyone else experiencing this and/or find a solution?
