wow, a dual 604e/200 board...nice
you may be able to bump up your bus speed a little bit. i have an 8500 and when i installed anXLR8 carrier card, i was able to get my bus speed up to 56-57 MHz. you will not see a giant speed increase but it will help. you are gonna have to do surface mount soldering and desoldering to alter your bus speed..even if you know what you're doing, i'd recommend having a backup processor in hand if anything goes wrong. very delicate stuff there.
FYI, the G3 i put in is an OWC mercury 400 that i have running at 454 MHz with macbench scores just under 1500...cost 400 bucks, for carrier and ZIF processor card...sell the dual on ebay..or if you have a reaL NEED FOR SPEED, dual G4's are starting to appear.
addendum: make sure you are running OS9 as i don't believe OS8.x supports multiprocessors, but OS9 does.
