I posted a similar poll a while back, but things have changed now, with a whole new round of child molestation charges. I want to see if peoples' opinions of his music have changed.
I've tried to narrow the choices down to his most popular songs of his career. I deliberately ommitted crap like Earth Song or Childhood. If those were your favourite, then I'm sorry for you

A very difficult choice. They are all good.

Dirty Diana is my favorite MJ song - that guy used to be so cool - what happened.

Amazing how a man can go from being the most popular entertainer in the world, to being possibly the most bizarre public figure ever.

There's a warning for you who haven't learnt it yet. Any public fugure (religion, music, movies, politics) who seems decent and honest can be a child raper, a thief, a liar, a con and killer. Whatever you see is all show.

First, I love "Man in the Mirror."
Secondly, I don't see what the big deal is. Let me tell you, if I was touched by Michael Jackson, I would be bragging about it to all the other kids on the playground the next day. You don't know what these kids went through. It was probably quite exciting and humbling for them.

If you can't separate the artist from the art, you have won't be able to appreciate much of anything ever created.
I still like Billie Jean. I don't really see why his issues now should change my favorite song by him.
I also like Beat it, and Dirty Diana. Nice guitar work by VanHalen, and Slash respectively.

Slash is quite talented, also I think his eccentric character and bizarre hat complimented MJ rather well during their performances
I think in Europe, Jacko will always be remembered for his art. But in America, if he's found guilty, people will probably remember him for his shamefulness.

Well, you'll have to pry this American's Michael Jackson CDs from my cold, dead hands.
Of the choices, the one that doesn't really belong is "Thriller." Yes, the video is fantastic, but the song is clearly the weakest on the album. You probably should've used "Rock With You" instead (it charter higher). Anyway, my three favorites are "Billie Jean," "Beat It," and "Remember the Time." I voted for "Beat It," but I could've gone either way.
Other great songs that haven't been mentioned so far:
Got to Be There
I Wanna Be Where You
Ben
Off the Wall
The Girl Is Mine (with Paul McCartney)
P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)
Wanna Be Starting Something
I Just Can't Stop Loving You
Liberian Girl
Leave Me Alone
Black or White
Will You Be There
You Are Not Alone
Stranger in Moscow
