I have a laCie 1Tb drive under my intel mini. It is connected via both USB and firewire connectors. When I put my USB drive into any aux port on the laCie drive, the drive shows up on my screen. It is full of jpeg images I want to transfer, but I can't figure out how to do it. When I click on the drive icon on the screen I get some squirrely error message. Yet, the drive works fine on my pc's at work. Anyone experience this? USB drives not compatible?

"Squirrely error message?" Good G_d, man, what's the message?!

You're connecting up both Firewire and USB? I don't know about the drive you're using, but usually it has to be one or the other. If Firewire was connected first, chances are anything on auxiliary USB ports would not be seen, unless this is some feature of your drive I don't know about.

What happens when you plug your USB flash drive in a USB port on the computer? What is the error message?
