has this info been released? is there going to be apple care on the iphone? every day i use this thing with no warranty scares me even more

Huh?

It has a standard warranty of one year.

Any AppleCare you can buy for Apple products is for the time AFTER that.

And btw, it's not insurance. If you break it, you pay for repairs.

Yeah, if you want breakage or loss insurance, Applecare won't help. You'll need to use a third party. I got a floater on my homeowners insurance for it.

Really, $69? When I asked the day of launch that is what I was told. But since then every time I go into the store and ask when and how much its always been:

I wasn't really disagreeing with you (and have seen it listed online at various places at the lower price). More just that when I ask about it in the store they always tell me $99 bucks.
