you should specify whether it's for the 12" or the 15/17" models since they use diff speeds

if it's coming out of an Al PowerBook... and it's 256MB stock, it has to be from a 15inch. either 1ghz or 1.25ghz. Because the old 12inch PowerBooks were 128+128 and the new ones are just 256+___.
UNLESS, he bought it and then bought another 512.
