I cannot find out how to delete the outside borders of my 3x5 table. I managed to select the borders that I want to delete, but when I press the delete button, I get the error sound. It seems that I can delete the inner table borders, but not the outside borders. Any ideas? Thanks.

Select the border that you want to get rid of, then go to the Graphic Inspector. Change "Stroke" to "None", and you should be good to go.

HTH, HAND...

haha...thank you so much. I was trying to get rid of it using the Table Inspector instead.
