Hey guys & gals. I have a, like new, 15" Powerbook that I'm going to be selling. I just don't really use it as much as I'd like to, and figure if I'm going to get any value for it, this is my chance. With people still needing a G4/5 system to run pro apps, there is still a need for powerbooks right now.
Anyway, here are the specs:
1.67ghz
80gb hard drive
8x dual layer superdrive
backlit keyboard
1.5gb RAM
128mb ATI 9700 video card
airport extreme/bluetooth 2.0
2x USB
1 firewire 400
1 firewire 800
1440x960 resolution
iLife06 DVD
Tiger Preinstalled
I'm asking $1550 shipped for it, but am open to other offers. Please PM me if you'd like to see pictures or would like to make an offer.
edit: price dropped to 1550.

What's the battery life on this Powerbook? I vaguely remember Apple promoting this PB version as having an improved battery life and I was wondering if that was the case.

I'd say I get around 4 hours with it, give or take. Of course, it all depends on what you're doing, etc.

That's pretty accurate. Same with mine, and mine is only 3 mos. old too. This is a great laptop, and I still prefer it over the dual core.

Yea, I love it, I just don't use it as much as I'd like. I don't travel much anymore and I'm not an independent contractor so I have a computer at my job now ... so not as much of a need for it other than sitting on the couch surfing the web.

After looking around, I think $1550 shipped may be a bit more reasonable. Keep the offers coming

No, I'm not really interested in a trade, as I have a g5 tower that does the job just fine for me. I just don't need a laptop anymore.

No thanks, I'd rather just have the cash.
