I have a dual 533 G4 that I need to get rid of, I got a mac mini to replace it. It has a 20gb hd, a tv tuner card, wireless card and os x 10.4. I was using it for a media center/server for about 2 years.

If you are going to part out, I might take the processor. Let me know.

cmon, no one wants to bite? This is a pretty good machine for a server or even a main workstation. It still performs surprisingly well.

It's the price. I got my 533 MHz single with an 80 Gb HD and 512 Mb of RAM for $150, this should be about $125 or $100. A 10 Gb HD is nothing to brag about, barely big enough for Tiger. And you haven't shown any pictures or how much RAM it has. All those things would help sell it

Before thread crapping, it would probably help to read his original post. It's a dual, it has a TV tuner card and it has a wireless card. And the HD is 20GB, not 10GB (not that it matters much).

There's ample justification for his asking price.

Wasn't thread crapping, I was giving constructive criticism. You can easily get a wireless card for $34 brand new from Belkin, or $10 used on craigslist or a computer store. The TV tuner card is certainly worth something, but not $50 or $100. Good luck selling.

Hey Lateralus, there's another thread in the marketplace that you should be chiming in on rather than this one.

I'm interested. I'm looking for a cheap experimental media server. How much ram is in it?

I bet you'd fetch a higher price on eBay. That's a solid Mac there. If I had a use for it right now, I'd buy it - I've always wanted a G4 tower.
