Hey guys,

Any idea what fonts are being used? This is for a non-profit my wife is involved with... Here it is:

http://netmusician.org/~joe/siwelogo.png

What the Font says one of these two, which are pretty darn close but don't seem to be 100% matches:

April Samuels Regular - Desktop font MyFonts
April Samuels OsF Regular - Desktop font MyFonts

Thanks in advance for your time here. I'm hoping that this font will jump out at one of you with a keen eye for this sort of thing.

Definitely not April Samuels. The serifs in that font are oddly triangular and don't match your sample.

I did some touchups on your sample (mostly separating the tight kerning, which can trip-up What the font) and am trying to run it back through WTF...But WTF keeps throwing errors at me right now.

Berling comes closer. But there are details that don't quite match. The serifs on the cap-S in Berling are longer and the serifs in the Berling cap-T don't angle outward, nor does the cap have that graceful upward arch in the sample. Serif fonts can be damned tricky to match.

Thanks a million Thorzdad, you rock!

I think the group is planning on coming up with a new logo, but they may want to use the same font, or at least in the meantime use it in some of their PR materials, so it will be nice to figure this out. I guess it doesn't have to be perfect, but there was something about April Samuels that just didn't look appealing to me.
