I've had OS X since it first came out but never used it (no drivers for my serial adapter) I just got the Keyspan 28x twin adpater from the apple store by my home and got the beta drivers for it. It works great. Except i have a problem w/ the internet program. It disconnects me for no reason at all. I could be on for 5 min or 2 hours, and it cuts me off when ever it wants. I cant find any problems w/ it. Strange thing is that when it disconnects me none of my internet progs (IE, AIM, Mail Hotline, ect....) work. But my modem is still connected. Internet Connect says its disconnecting but never finishes it. If it does give me the option to connect, it wont let me do to a PPP error. Any ideas?? I love using OS X but im back on OS 9.2.1 till i get it fixed. Im using OS X 10.0.4 on a B&W G3/400 w/ 1 GIG of RAM.
thanks!!!!!!!!

try searching apple.com's discussion forums. there is a massive thread discussing issue with the modem drivers for x. someone even has a link to driver they compiled from the darwin source which returns sound and functionaltiy to the modem. sorry, i don't know the exact link.
