This question has probably been posted before, but I am always interested in what people are using. I used to use a Kensington PocketMouse optical scroll and loved it. Then, my wife inherited my old G3 PowerBook and the mouse with it (she hates the trackpad). Then, I picked up the BT-500 BlueTake mouse sold by RadTech (http://www.radtech.us/Products/BT500.aspx) and absolutely love it. It is a tiny BlueTooth mouse (no dongle required) that works great with my PB G4 12". It is a little small in my hand, but so are all little laptop mice.

The trackpad on my PB17 is amazing. I only use a mouse for games and only when I�m at home and the PB is sitting on the desk.
I bought a Logitech MX700-incredible piece of equipment.
Haven`t gotten around to programming all the buttons yet.

At firts I thought it would be too small, but I got used to it pretty quickly, and the second button and scroll wheel work fine. Very portable.

I'm using a Microsoft trackball, and then occasionally I'll use the mouse that comes with my wacom tablet.

Trackball saves a huge amount of space, as you don't need to move it around.

I use the "Logitech Notebook Optical Mouse Plus". I like it so far. Nice portability and the size works OK for me. I do wish it were Bluetooth, though.

maybe this is why apple [supposedly] has no intention of making a more than 1 button mouse. their bluetooth mouse is selling, thus sales show that people are happy with a one button mouse.

I was looking at the mx900 on logitechs website and i was wondering do you have to use that bluetooth hub thing or will the the mouse connect directly through bluetooth and just use the hub thing for charging the battery?

Correct!
You only use the "Hub" for charging.

My mouse is the Logitech cordless Trackman (even though I have a G4 iBook and not a P'Book). It's great. I even converted my g/f to it after she spent about 20 minutes on it.
I also have a M$ optical mouse, a really tiny one, for when I'm the road and want more than the SideTrack-enabled trackpad.

I use the trackpad 99.99%, but if I really needed the mouse for precision work, I'd borrow my MSFT Wireless Optical Explorer from the iMac and use that.

I just bought a Logitech MX500. Best mouse I have ever used. Fits my hand soooo well.

I would have bought the 700 but really, I don't like the idea of having to change batteries every now and then.

I've had the MX700 for a year now. Haven't had to change the batteries at all. Charges last longer than a week.

Same here, and the colour and size match well with my PB. Compact and light to carry. Best of all, cord management.

I just got a Bluetake for my new 12" and so far its a great mouse. Had heard reports of bad battery life on BT mice, but so far so good, several hours use on a set of rechargeable AAAs.

Logitech MX 900. Bluetooth fun, made for my big hands, and lots of buttons. plus, it matches my slick 12in Powerbook.

Though it is a tad bit expensive. Well worth. The girls go wild for it.
