I'm in the market for an external HD and it's a toss up between the Maxtor OneTouch II 500gb and the Western Digital My Book Premium 500gb. I'm looking for something that has both USB and Firewire.
I was wondering if anyone has this drive and has any advice on either one.
If I were you I'd just go with a shell...you can swap in any old comp hard drive whenver you feel like it, plus mine looks really sweet. Also has FW 800 (along with firewire 400 and usb 2.0)so it's very fast with my powerbook.
