Not always, but often I see my screen render like this when scrolling. It clears when I scroll again. Has anyone experienced this and is it as hardware related as it appears? Any recommendations?

Since you can take a screen shot of it, it's not a problem with the display. Most likely it's software error (such glitches are typical of graphics driver problems), or less likely, a problem with the graphics chip.
