Last week I've encountered this error about 3-4 times. I haven't got the error since then, but I was wondering what you guys thought of it.

ip configuration:

Your router is 192.168.1.1 and it is handing out IP addresses with DHCP. I think it has gotten confused over what is still active and what has run out of lease. Power cycle the router.

power cycling meaning turn it off for 45 seconds and then back on again.

Sorry! I have started to use the same techno-geek language that I find so irritating! Yes, power cycle really means pull the plug, have a cup of coffee, plug it back in!

I like Sherman's timing method. Leaving a misbehaving box off for only a brief time may not be enough. I always recommend waiting a full timed minute, but a cup of coffee is both longer and something to do while you're waiting.

Thanks guys for the input, I power cycled my router this morning. After I did that, I checked all my the computers in my house and they all were assigned correct IP's. Thanks again!
