hi is this a well known and documented problem with Safari as it certainly IS a problem on my mac.

Is it a problem for other people?

It sometimes saves whole pages, sometimes just the text but mostly just the link. Also links within pages are missing sometimes.

PDF's are not an acceptable work around (nice sometimes) as they do not link back to the original for updates etc. and are slow and clunky.

I am using 10.2.4 and version 1 of Safari.

I want to use Safari, why do I have to use Internet Explorer to do this.

Um... because Safari doesn't have that feature yet. Sorry. Withe the ability to email entire pages as formatted and whatnot in Tiger, it does seem likely that this capability is coming to Safari, it's just not there yet.
