I see there is another update to the Nvidia drivers for MacOS 9. Supposedly they increase performance.

Wonder where the updates are for the MacOS X drivers? I don't use MacOS 9 anymore.

The drivers need Mac OS 9 to install, but they affect Mac OS X as well. I have 1 new resolution and 2 new refresh rates for old resolutions in Mac OS X.

I was happily amazed by this.

Hey, thanks for the info. I didn't know MacOS X was affected by the install. I'll have to give these a try.

for one thing, DVD viewing isn't updated in OSX - it still sucks on my GeForce2 MX in my Cube. BUT it's improved VERY much in OS9 thanks to these drivers. i was actually running on my old ATI Rage 128 Pro because of the difference in quality in DVD's, but now i can have both gaming and quality movies (in OS9). lucky me! just hope both will get much better in OSX pretty soon :cP

edit: btw, you can find the update on versiontracker.com - just search for "nvidia" in the "Mac OS" (not "Mac OS X") section. you might need TomeViewer, also found in the same section of versiontracker, to find it.
