I don't know about you, but I'm just a little curious as to why his entire resume/CV is written in third person. Sounds far too much like a parent going "oh my kid can do this.. and this.. and this" kinda thing.
Also - like someone else said - he only spends 15 to 20 minutes a day on the computer? Obviously that's why he's not in the GBR.

Oh and btw...

No one really wants to be like Bill Gates. No one.

I was making foreign language glossary checking apps when I was eight. Where's my world record book entry?

So, 15 minutes a day (based on the quote about using computers 15-20 minutes a day) x 14 days (two weeks) = 3.5 hours! Wow, a website that took a whole 3.5 hours?!? Must be huge!

All sarcasm aside, I think the kid is getting too much attention for what he can do (did you see his site??). Yea, he's only eight, but he also can't really do much with the web. drag a few pictures on, drag a link on, etc (using front page).. then again, maybe he rocks at excel. But however good he is, I think he is getting too much attention for it. He'll be heartbroken when he has to find a job flipping burgers because no one wants a kid that can use front page (is that even a skill?).

For real. I wasn't doing anything that fancy, but I was messing around and making crappy little apps with HyperCard and BASIC at that age.

And using software isn't what's hard. Do these people really think this is the only eight-year-old who can figure out how to use MS Office?! Kids these days are smart...

judging from his cross-eyed weasel appearance at the minute, he's certainly going to give bill gates a run for his money in the "hunky good looks" department when he grows up.
