Thank you so much for turning this on! It was highly annoying there for a while...

what do you mean?

Here.. when I click on any thread, it sent me to the most current post, which I found it annoying.

It didn't use to do that in the control panel for subscribed threads. I find it very helpful to go right to the first post I haven't read in the thread...

Same here. It's annoying.

Yeah it does suck in the boards, but it's a godsend for subscribed threads IMO. Especially once they reach multiple pages.

That's what clicking on the name of the last person who posted in the thread did, though.

It's especially bad since it takes you to the last post of a thread you've never even seen before (IOW it skips many posts you've never seen, including the OP). It's obvioulsy a bug.

It did that since the redesign happened? There were many people requesting it when the redesign first happened and no one ever mentioned that...

It did -- but inconsistently. (I believe someone complained about it) Sometimes it would inexplicably take you to an earlier point in the thread.

I have no idea when it got implemented. It got mentioned in passing in some feedback thread because the Polounge teaser thread was linking to the last post incorrectly.

Please move any further discussion on this to the bugs thread so we can keep track of things. Thanks.
