Hi there

I bought an old Apple Quicktake Camera in an auktion. It's complete with sofware, cables and all. I can't get it to mount on a machine with serial port, but using system 9.1.
On an old Powerbook 145, with system 7.5.5 it works, so it must be in the system. Can anybody help me out?????

Thanks

The software won't work with OS 9. You're stuck using the old powerbook to retrieve your images and then transferring them to your newer mac.

I've done some searching looking for something that may work but have yet to find anything. Maybe someone else can help...

Well assuming you are using a powermac, try buying a smart media card reader. I use a pcmcia smart media adapter with my G3 powerbook running 9.2.1 and it works great. Besides that the cable method is sooooooo slow and the software interface sucks.
