I want to buy a sony digital camera and not sure if the MBP supports it well?

I imagine with a USB Card Reader any camera's memory crd would work fine. You can get one for around $20 these days.

OS X is compatible with most every digital camera around. Plug and play.

Mine works fine. Mounts as a sony memory stick. I have the DSC-W50.
