1gb ram possible for rev a 867 Mhz Powerbook G4?

I'm planning to install one stick 1gb ram and I'm not sure if it is possible. since I heard the limit is 512. If its possible were can I buy 1gb ram and what is the specification of the ram since I lost the manual that comes with powerbook my powerbook.

I'm guessing you're talking about a 12" PB, in which case, yes 1GB chips work fine, for a total of 1.13GBs

The machine is listed as using PC2700 memory (like the bigger powerbooks), but it only uses the memory as PC2100 (like the iBooks). Feel free to buy any PC2100 SO-DIMM chip.
