not sure about Internet streaming radio but the shareware program Dot.Tunes allows you to stream your iTunes library to your iPod Touch.
It's a great way to get around the 8GB or 16GB limits of the iPhone/iPod Touch storage capacity. Of course you'd have to hang out somewhere that has wifi access....
Dot.Tunes offers iTunes library streaming to iPhone, iPod touch

The iPod Touch cannot stream m3u (mp3 streams) nor can it stream windows media or real media (and I am not complaining as I want nothing to do with real media).
But, you can stream mp3 files. You can e.g. go to BBC documentary archives and stream their content. Just click the download link in Safari and it will stream.
Example link:
BBC NEWS | Programmes | Documentary Archive | A Year with the Nuclear Police
Concerning streaming your iTunes library, you can run this command in the terminal:
ln -s ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes\ Music/ /Library/WebServer/Documents iTunes
Then start your webserver found in System Preferences > Sharing
Navigate in safari to http://your-computer's-ip/iTunes/ and you will get your library.

go to musicradio.com for radio and google seeqpod and its the first one for any music for free! These work because an iPod touch is a mac and has QuickTime. Email me at [email protected] for any questions or to request help on connecting to these streams

Oh and if you're willing to jailbreak, you can try iRadio. If not, you're probably going to have to wait until the SDK based apps start coming out.

My husband uses an application from FlyTunes - Now The iPhone Is Complete on his iphone (it's on apples list of apps). It sounds great & is really easy to use. Not sure when I'll be upgrading my ipod to touch (hopefully soon)!!
