Are their any resellers other than Apple and local university bookstores that sell macs with the education discount?

The Apple Store online. Why? Do you have something against buying things at those stores? The whole point of edu discounts is that you save money, thus normal retail doesn't want them, and shouldn't get them.

Um, why? Maybe because I'd like to order over the internet and save the sales tax?
Is it so hard to be helpful rather than panning my question?

I haven't looked at Apple's educational pricing in some time, but isn't it still the case that you'll get a better deal from an Amazon than you will from Apple education pricing most all of the time?

As someone who has to pay sales tax when he buys things online, I didn't realize that other places allowed you to not pay taxes on things just because you bought them online. Not every country has your haphazardly produced laws.

No, there are no other resellers offering EDU discounts. You can usually get a better price from an online reseller than from Apple EDU unless you live somewhere where you don't pay sales tax.
