So yesterday I emailed myself a reminder that iPhone auto correct turned into:

'Replace stain head'

I've completely forgotten what I was trying to remember- anyone with guesses? I'm fairly certain that 'Replace' is correct, and I'm about 50% confident that 'head' is correct as well. But could be car, horse, or dog as well.

We've recently moved house, so it's probably DIY related. I can say it's not 'stair' or 'drain'. Beyond that, I've got nothing.

Hoping for a breakthrough, as I thought it was important enough to send to three different email addresses (my work, my personal and my wife's).

BTW, I was not drinking or otherwise impaired, beyond my standard level of ADD.

Thanks.

Replace stein head. ie - refill.

Check the exact time you sent it. Yesterday was a week day, and you probably are on much the same schedule each work day. So use the time to place your location and activity. That usually jogs my memory.

Excellent advice- I know exactly where I was and what I was doing- out at the barn mucking out stables- had to take my gloves off to send the message. I remember the act clear as a bell- just have no clue what I meant to write.

Maybe somehow it's shower head??

Seems like a far reach, but autocorrect on iOS can be a little ridiculous sometimes.

That's possible. It's based on the surrounding keys so it might have gone

S
H is fairly close to T, and you can easily hit Y or G which is just next to both
O is close to I - yes, I know the order is off, but it corrects for that too
W is close to A, and since E and R are in order after W, the autocorrect can easily "eat" one or both of them. Could also be that the phone detects only one touch - with slightly moist fingers and quick typist, three touches might register as one.
The spacebar is close to N.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Son of a ****ing bitch.

No one will believe me, but I figured that one out, and kept it to myself because I thought there's no way it could be that.

I started looking at letters next to the letters in "stain", and Dyson is right there.

Are you typing this post on your phone? Because I think it auto-corrected "because I didn't want you to remember" to "because I thought there's no way it could be that."
