I am unable to change the name of my HD in 10.1.5. I also can't modify it? Does this have something to do with "sharing"?

Disable Filesharing and try again. Renaming HDs does not work if Filesharing is active.

Turned off filesharing in 9 and X. Still can't modify HD. Can't even drag stuff to trash.
