Since there is a review on Corel Painter 11 on MacNN, perhaps this is a good place to ask around about my little problem.

I noticed that almost every thin line drawn in CP11 looks jagged, especially pencil & pen with 1.0 thickness. Liquid ink 1.0 looks better, but still jagged. The lines also look jagged in exported PNG/ TIFF/ JPG files.

I tried drawing similar lines in Pixelmator, the lines look much, much, smoother. So I'm not sure if this is the raster vs vector thing?

I was wondering if it is possible to create smooth 1px line/curve in CP11? Or maybe there is a trick to it?

P.S. I intend to use CP11 to inking my friend's comic sketches, and then do some coloring. Any brush suggestions?
