Greetings!
I just recently bought a 15inch Titanium Powerbook off of ebay. The Guy who was selling it worded it wrong, and now it looks like their might be a minor complication. The Display appears to only work when it is tilted right. Here's what I got from the seller:
"I talked to the original guy that sold me this ($700) a month ago...
The screen is exactly as described...it works whenever the heck it wants
to...OR you have to tilt it JUUUUUST right...then it works fine...
I took it to the apple store just to see what the apple geniuses would
say...and they said they don't know why its working inconsistently...but
they can get me a new screen for $400...whatever...
so I just tilt it until it works...or use an external monitor..."
I'm willing to try and fix this problem myself, does anybodys have any suggestions as to what could be causing this??? I would gladly accept any advice at all!!
