Hi.

I've been working in iMovie for the first time, since it's all I have at home. But, I just wanted to know, has anybody ever experienced iMovie being extremely unstable? It keeps quiting on me whenever I tried to undo something. My session is around the 15GB mark.

Does iMovie not handle large sessions very well? Is this why more professional products like Final Cut Pro exist?

Thanks,
onlyone-jc.

Yep, large sessions = random crashes.. at least that was my experience.

Be careful as sometimes iMovie will decide it no longer "likes" a project after a crash when using it and will crash as soon as you try to open the file.

My advice: Switch to a pro app for large video edits or make a backup of your iMovie project after every few hours or so!

Yeah, I've been experiencing this. However, after a few tries, it seems to open fine. iMovie has become so sluggish. I think Apple need to have another look at its code!

Thanks for confirming that it's not just me, though!

Thanks again,
onlyone-jc.
