Can I put a solid state hard drive in my MacBook (2.1 GHz MB402LL/A)?

Right now I'm in my curious stages, but also couldn't find any info about it anywhere online because I'm clouded with "MacBook Air" webpages.

Is there a way to do this?

(Yes, I realize that I'd be giving up about 60 GB of Hard Drive space.)

Sure, you can put in a new 2.5" drive without voiding your warranty.

Of course they work; they're just like any other IDE/SATA drive.

Looks like the good (fast) ones are down to ~$12/GB and the cheap ones are ~$3/GB.

Decent as in what brands?

(Can't wait for prices to come down more.)

I never said decent. Do you want fast or cheap and what size or price?

I'm not buying anything right now, but you know what I mean, decent drives that don't break or fail at performance. I expect something that's has "turning on a light switch" access and writing times for RAM hard drives.

So, what brands make decent drives?

In no particular order: OCZ, Samsung, Intel, Mtron
